POKER Night
Had a few friends over to play poker....thought it would be cheaper to gamble at home and it was....stayed up til 1:30 a.m. Was just a little tired the next day!
Flower Delivery from Jan & cake too!
Jan was on my doorstep bright and early this a.m. to bring me flowers....but Marvin was earlier than that! Marvin came back with huge flowers and a Tim Hortons coffee...Jan came with flowers and cake! My Birthday is starting out good!
Met up with Sharon, Dieter & Heather at the Casino!
Well we had to rip Malcolm away from the poker tables so we could visit over dinner but it didn't take him long to get back to the poker table...(cause his food was cold) and then we had a wonderful visit with our cousins!
Guess Who's Coming to Dinner????
Malcolm showed up on my doorstep at 4:45 A.M. Friday morning! He flew into Seattle and drove all night to get here for GOLF.....but he found RAIN and SNOW! Yikes.....so POKER it is my fellow friends! And of course he WINS....but all 4 of us won at the Casino in Langley! Then we went to Hope (1/2 hr drive) for another round of poker with the community out there....was quite as lucky but we played all night for $30...so lots of fun!
Seafood night in B.C. Thurs April 17
Well Rob's favourite meal is a seafood one so we stopped and bought salmon, scallops wrapped in bacon; prawns....and had a wonderfully tastey dinner tonight! Wow it was good! We did golf today and without getting rained out which is pretty good these days....the weather is a little dicey...rain in everyday forcast!

2nd Day golfing..Wed April 16...and no rain but there was MUD.....
Well we woke up to rain but we went golfing at noon and it was very nice out...course was good but muddy...our game wasn't so good...but the trees and the coyotes were fun to look at. Two coyotes crossed our paths pretty darn close....(I am sure that is what interfered with our concentration and therefore our game went to the dogs!
Barb & Rob arrive in B.C. Tuesday, April 15
And we are on the golf course by 12:30......but when I picked them up in Abbotsford airport it was raining soooooo hard my wipers couldn't keep up so I thought our golf game was over before it began.....but we had breakfast and asked the server to pray for some sun....well by our Tee time it was not sunny but it wasn't raining and we got our whole 18 holes in without getting rained out or rained on....although by this picture....Barb & Rob were ready for rain...they were suited up and ready to go! We had a great game...only noticed 2 other crazy people on the course with us....we were weren't rushed at all....it was great!
Good Friday dinner @ Jan's
Jan (pronounced Yan) made us an Indonesian Dish...it was Fabulous!
Dieter & Sharon visit to Chilliwack
They drove for an 90 mins to have pie & ice cream at the Chilliwack Airport.....Chris and I drove 8 mins. doesn't seem fair but we appreciated them coming out! And their new best Friend Angus! Keeps them in great shape (hmmmm maybe I should get a dog!)
